Project Manager/Project Coordinator
Vocalink Language Services is looking for a full time Project Manager or a full time Project Coordinator.
Position Description:
To qualify as a project manager, you must have 2-5 years experience as a project manager in the language industry. To qualify as a Project Coordinator, you must have 6 months to 1 year of experience in the language industry. You must also know how to use Trados. Vocalink is looking for a high motivated person who can work independently, is a fast learner and can solve problems. This job can be done remotely.

Desktop and Website Support

Position Description:
As a PC Support specialist, you will provide in-house technical support to several areas on computer hardware and software to ensure resolution of issues, including Printer maintenance and network trouble shooting. Installs new and maintains existing hardware/software. You will responsible for handling internal customer issues and following appropriate procedures to address customer concerns.
A secondary role will include website updating, managing new content, including marketing videos.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsibilities may include telephone technical support and remote monitoring of our customers’ systems.
- • Assume ownership of customer issues and follow through until issues are resolved.
- • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with the customer to insure that the customer is well-informed before, during and after service engagements.
- • Insure that services are provided in the time frame promised to the customer, and that the quality and completeness of work performed meets or exceeds the expectations of the customer.
- • Responsibilities include proper maintenance, care and accounting for personal computers, specialized tools and instrumentation. Provide both remote and on-site service support for Vocalink internal customers.
Requirements:
• Must be independent self starter with clear knowledge of your field.
- • Basic PC setup knowledge and hands-on configuration knowledge of operations Familiar with HTML, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual C#.NET, SQL, JavaScript, and SQLServer, for an Intranet/Extranet/Internet website.
- • Associate degree in Computer, Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent developmental experience.
- • 5+ years of service experience on computers, desktop support
- • Solid proficiencies with information technology systems comprised of personal computer hardware, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Professional, and network topologies.
- • Strong problem solving, organizational and project management skills a must.
- • Valid driver license & clean driving record.
- • Ability to occasionally be on after hour’s rotational calls to provide telephone assistance as well as emergency response to customer sites.
- • This position will require occasional travel to locations throughout the assigned territory, and occasionally will span the surrounding Dayton area counties. Travel is anticipated to be approximately 10%.
